The Last Dinner Party have announced a fresh run of UK and Ireland dates including a Manchester gig at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. They will also headline at Liverpool’s Mountford Hall.
The Manchester and Liverpool gigs are two of 16 UK and Ireland dates they have confirmed for September/October 2024. The tour comes in support of their upcoming debut album Prelude To Ecstasy.
The London-based band has enjoyed a huge 12 months including winning BBC Radio 1 Sound of 2024 and the BRIT Rising Star Award. The Last Dinner Party are now set to release their debut album Prelude To Ecstasy on 2 February. Speaking about the album the band said, “Ecstasy is a pendulum which swings between the extremes of human emotion, from the ecstasy of passion to the sublimity of pain, and it is this concept which binds our album together. This is an archaeology of ourselves; you can exhume our collective and individual experiences and influences from within its fabric. We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life.”
