It’s time to #SpiceUpManchester as music and fashion fans can get ready to unleash their inner Spice Girl as the Spice Girl exhibition comes to Manchester Central Convention Centre.

Running for two weeks #SpiceUpManchester will be showcasing thousands of items of memorabilia alongside hundreds of iconic stage costumes, some of which have not been publicly displayed since they were first worn in the 90s.

In addition to displaying merchandise from around the globe – ranging from the rare and unseen to the peculiar and unusual – the exhibition will be showcasing just how significantly and successfully the Spice Girls went from band to brand on a scale that truly took over the world!

As the exhibition prepares to go nationwide, it has been confirmed that the second stop of its UK tour will be at Manchester Central Convention Centre.  Organisers have confirmed that the exhibition will form the centrepiece of a whole host of events taking place in and around Manchester.

Speaking about taking the Spice Girls exhibition on tour to Manchester, curator of the event Alan Smith-Allison commented, “After the phenomenal reaction to #SpiceUpLondon, and the massive appetite for unapologetic cheesy feel-good fun, the SpiceUp exhibition is delighted to announce the second stop of our UK tour will be Manchester. #SpiceUpManchester will take place at Manchester Central from 24th August until 4th September 2018. The biggest music exhibition ever has just become the biggest touring music exhibition ever! Hold on to your knickers Manchester, Girl Power is coming at ya!”
