Jordan Allen return to The Ruby Lounge, the scene of their biggest Manchester gig to date, for their final performance of 2016 on Saturday 23 December.

Having sold out the venue earlier this year, the band is keen to return, with Jordan recently commenting “Without a doubt, this our most exciting hometown show to date. We’re already heading for a sellout with under a month to go, which is a milestone in itself, we’ve worked so hard this year to get to a point where this is possible and we’ve improved so much as a live act. I think this is gonna be one of those nights people talk about in years to come. We’ve got new songs, new elements to our live performance and a whole load of other suprises up our sleeve.

It’s been incredibly difficult year on a personal level, I lost my Dad to Cancer, he was my biggest fan and influence on my music career from the day I began performing, so it has taken a little while to readjust. As a band, this year has gone from strength to strength. After starting the year with a new line-up and a new drummer, we have gone on to be signed to one of the biggest booking agents in the country, played Reading and Leeds Festival and completed our first UK Mini Tour. So 2017 for us is an incredibly exciting prospect, we have new tracks to release that I know are the finest  we’ve written yet, which are now all ready to go. I’m confident that 2017 will be our year and that I’ll make my Dad even more proud.

Last time we played Ruby Lounge we took the roof off, this time we want to show Manchester that we are the next big thing. We want to be up there with Courteeners and Blossoms by the end of 2017 and we’ll stop at nothing to achieve that… Livin’ La Vida Bolton.”

Making a big impression with their debut performances at the legendary Leeds and Reading festivals, not to mention heaps of air play with killer singles Helter Skelter, Too Much Too Soon and Dancing In The Dark, the four piece notched up media attention from BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X.
