A Nashville Honkytonk Live Experience is coming to Manchester with a full band show, DJ, American Food and Drink and a songwriter round featuring Live Manchester favourite Liv Austen.
The Nashville Honkytonk Live Experience is presented by One Night in Nashville creators, UK Country Artist Maria Jordan and partner Dave Heyes who witnessed the buzzing live music scene of Nashville and wanted to bring the authentic feel of Nashville back to UK audiences. Producer and songwriter Scott Ralph came on board as a partner in 2018.
The show features a 90 minute Live show with a full band performing the biggest Modern and Classic Country Music hits of all time from Dolly Parton, to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard to Glen Campbell, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood and everything in between. The band is made up of some of the finest established songwriters, musicians, producers and performers.
Before the main show Maria Jordan hosts a Nashville style songwriter round featuring up and coming UK Americana and Country artists. A Live DJ spins Country tunes and there is American Food and Whiskey in abundance.
The songwriting round will feature Maria Jordan, Liv Austen who makes her return to Manchester and Stevie O’Connor.
When does the Nashville Honkytonk Live Experience take place?
The Nashville Honkytonk Live Experience takes place on 7 October at Manchester’s Night People. The event runs 3pm-8pm. Tickets are priced £15, discounted to £13 until 30 August and available from One Night In Nashville.
The event follows on from other Nashville influenced events in Manchester including the recently announced CMA Songwriters series at Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music and the free Get A Round In night running every first and third Monday of the month at The Patron NQ featuring singer/songwriters performing in the round. Get A Round In is run by Ben Williams in association with Live Manchester.
