Natalie Imbruglia has announced a 25th anniversary tour of her landmark album Left Of The Middle. The run of dates includes a Manchester gig at the O2 Ritz.
Natalie Imbruglia will celebrate the album which made her a global star by performing six dates across the UK in October 2022.
She will revisit her multi-platinum selling debut album and also perform hits from her catalogue and latest album Firebird.
Left Of The Middle was released on 24 November 1997. It quickly reached the number one spot in Australia and Top 10 in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland and more. UK sales along were triple-platinum.
The album included the massive hit single Torn as well as Big Mistake, Wishing I Was There and Smoke. Natalie Imbruglia’s Left Of The Middle still stands as the best selling debut album by a female Australian singer.
Imbruglia would go on to win scores of awards including 2 Brit Awards, 8 ARIA Awards, 1 Billboard Music Award, 3 MTV Music Awards and 3 Grammy nominations.
Natalie’s latest release, Firebird, was written alongside a host of songwriters including Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes, Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers, KT Tunstall, Eg White (Adele, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith), Luke Fitton (Little Mix, Girls Aloud), Fiona Bevan (One Direction, Ed Sheeran), Rachel Furner (Little Mix, Jason Derulo, Craig David) and more.
Firebird touches on themes of independence, vulnerability, the juxtaposition of strength and fragility.
