Greater Manchester’s largest open art exhibition will open in February at HOME Manchester, running until the end of April.

Manchester Open 2024 will feature the work of 480 individual artists exhibiting their work, making it the largest edition so far.

The work will include painting, print, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, video, audio and performance.  Manchester Open 2024 features exhibitors from artists and creatives new and old, with submissions received from entrants ranging from 5 to 83 years.

Accompanying the exhibition will be a series of events including artist tours, quiet opening hours, Audio Described and BSL tours and family friendly activities.

Speaking about the exhibition, Clarissa Corfe, HOME’s Creative Producer: Visual Art said, “2024 is going to be a truly exciting year for Manchester Open. The breadth and quality of work entered has made for an inspiring and stimulating selection process and I’m convinced that in the exhibition there will be something for everyone.”

More than 1,800 submissions were made to participate in Manchester Open 2024, the highest number received.  The selection panel considered every submitted artwork, choosing those that would ultimately fill the walls and spaces of HOME Gallery.
