Jewelia has shared her latest single, Loser, ahead of the release of her new album Little Wins which lands on 19 April.

Loser arrives following a wave of media attention following her previous single Invisible Wall.

Loser finds Jewelia sharing her own vulnerabilities, inspired by struggles with procrastination and a lack of confidence, but a desire for self-improvement.

Speaking about the track, Jewelia said, “Loser is about all those times when we couldn’t push ourselves out of our comfort zones. When we wanted to say something but were too embarrassed or shy to say it. When we wanted to learn how to play an instrument or learn that new language but always found an excuse that there was no time. When we let an opportunity slip away because we lacked the courage or the confidence. This doesn’t make us losers, just humans.”

Jewelia wrote Loser and co-produced the track alongside Andy Denyer with mixing from Niko Battistini.

Jewelia – real name Iulia Tache – was simultaneously studying law and attending the Music Conservatoire in Bucharest in her homeland of Romania when her desires were pulling in opposite directions.  She relocated to the UK to make her dreams a reality.
