Courteeners have sold out their Emirates Old Trafford gig in Manchester in just 90 minutes.

The massive hometown show at the 50,000 capacity venue went on sale at 9am this morning, selling out by 10.30.  The gig was announced earlier this week.

The gig, which is set for 25 September will see Courteeners supported by Zuzu, The Big Moon, Blossoms and Johnny Marr.

Before the sold-out date they will headline Friday night at Gasgow’s TRNSMT Festival on a bill which includes Liam Gallagher and The Chemical Brothers.

The Big Moon previously performed at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse.

The date marks a return to the venue for Courteeners who sold the venue out in May 2017.
