Betty Boo celebrates classic albums with 2025 tour
Betty Boo will headline a Manchester gig at YES (Pink Room) in November. The date forms part of a newly announced UK and Ireland tour that follows a packed summer of live shows across independent venues.
The hip-hop pioneer and platinum-selling artist is hitting the road again in celebration of the special edition reissues of her seminal 1990s albums Boomania and GRRR! It’s Betty Boo, now available on coloured vinyl, CD and cassette. This winter run will see Betty Boo performing hits from those releases, alongside songs from her 2022 comeback album Boomerang and 2024’s UK Top 40 record Rip Up The Rulebook.
Betty Boo made her return to the spotlight in 2022 after a 30-year hiatus, with Boomerang earning critical acclaim and strong airplay. She followed this with Rip Up The Rulebook, hailed as her most accomplished album to date. Her live set draws from across her career, including iconic singles Doin’ The Do and Where Are You Baby?
