Trudy and the Romance will enjoy a date at Manchester’s The Castle next week.  And it will be a date filled with lovelorn sea shanties, mutant rockabilly pop and doo-wop rock.

The trio have quickly become the talk of Liverpool, where they are based, and beyond.  They’ve been quickly gathering plaudits from the likes of NME, GIY, 6Music, Radio 1, Radio X and Beats 1 and were 2016’s fourteenth most bloggest artists.  But it’s not just in the media where Trudy and the Romance have been racking up the success … they’ve climbed the Spotify charts, landed high on Hype Machine and that’s before the trio of Olly, Brad and Lew have even dropped their debut album.

2017 has been equally as kind for them so far.  They have supported The Fall and The Big Moon, recorded a John Kennedy live session for Radio X and the year has also marked their first headline nation-wide tour.
