The Printworks, Manchester, will celebrate World Food Day on Tuesday 16 October with free treats from a selection of its restaurants and bars.

World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world.  The day honours the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.

Between 11.30am and 1.30pm visitors to the Pump Yard at The Printworks will be able to sample a range of foods from across the world courtesy of Hard Rock Cafe, Walkabout, Frankie & Benny’s, Wagamama, Nando’s, Chiquitoes, Wasabi and O’Neills.

Australian themed bar, Walkabout, will be bringing a flavour from down under with its Kangaroo Burgers, as well as Chicken Parmi, while Hard Rock Cafe and O’Neills offer the ultimate comfort food with treats such as mini burgers and pizza.

Those with a sweet tooth, fear not, as Frankie & Benny’s will be bringing the most crucial part of a meal with desserts such as key lime pie and pecan and walnut brownies on offer for sampling.

The Printworks is home to over eighteen bars and restaurants with cuisine from all over the world, including Tex-Mex, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese, plus a range of bars, a cinema, mini golf and an escape room – meaning there’s something for everyone!
