The 13-time GRAMMY award-winning, multi-platinum selling superstars The Chicks have announced an arena tour including Manchester’s AO Arena.

The Manchester gig is one of five UK and Ireland dates they have confirmed as a part of their 37-date UK, Europe and US tour.

Maren Morris is set to support The Chicks on their UK and European tour dates.

Speaking about getting back on the road, The Chicks said, “This last year on the road has been a whirlwind for us, but it’s time to bring the party to the UK and Europe.  We can’t wait to see everyone and play for all our fans across the pond – it’s been a long time coming, and we can’t wait to get back!”

The dates will mark The Chicks’ first UK dates for seven years.

The Chicks have sold more than 30.5 million albums and are among an elite group of artists and the only female group to achieve multiple “diamond” selling (ten million copies) releases.  They have scooped 13 Grammy Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and numerous Country Music Association Awards

27 June – Cardiff, Cardiff Castle
28 June – Glasgow, OVO Arena
30 June – Dublin, 3Arena
2 July – Birmingham, Utilita Arena
4 July – Manchester, AO Arena

Tickets for The Chick’s headline UK and Ireland tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 17 February
