Scouting For Girls have been announced as the headliners for this summer’s seventh Rochdale Feel Good Festival, which will be held on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August.
The band, which is best known for hit singles Heartbeat, She’s so lovely, Elvis ain’t dead and This ain’t a love song (amongst their ten top 40 singles and four top 10 albums and two million sales, and not to mention the Brit Award and Ivor Novelloe nominations!), have a reputation for their tremendous live performances which have seen them headline Wembley Arena and tour extensively, including performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall and an upcoming gig at Hyde Park.
The event will also see the return of one of the UK’s best loved Chefs – Ainsley Harriott who will be demonstrating his cooking skills in the food tent at the festival on Sautrday 30th August. In fact food promises to play a big theme in the festival which a numer of live cooking demonstrations set to take place as well as a food market.
With more act set to be confirmed later this month, it already promises to be a stand out event.
