Speaking about the EP, the trio, Naomi Cook (lead vocals and guitar), Natalie Stovall (vocals and fiddle/guitar) and Jennifer Wayne (vocals and guitar) said, “Our new Christmas EP, When I Think About Christmas has all of these beautiful mountain Appalachian sounds.  So we put our own little spin on Christmas music and we’ve got some fiddle so why not!”

Runaway June’s new EP features the original songs Christmas On The Radio and title track When I Think About Christmas.  The EP also features Sleigh Ride, O Holy Night and Let It Snow.

When EP comes as Runaway June continue to climb the charts in the US with their current single We Were Rich.  The track came shortly after the trio made history with record breaking single Buy My Own Drinks, which marked the first time a female trio had broken in to the top five on the Mediabase Country chart since The Chicks in 2003.  The band have also scored nods from the industry with nominations at the 2019 CMT Awards and at the 2019 ACM’s for New Vocal Duo or Group of The Year. Runaway June was selected for CRS New Faces Class of 2020. Their debut album, Blue Roses was released last year making Rolling Stone’s and Paste Magazine’s end of year lists as one of the best Country and Americana albums of 2019.
