Legendary Band Brings March On Tour To Manchester

The legendary band The Stranglers are set to perform at Manchester Academy on 21st March 2015. The 2015 March On Tour, comes after last year’s sell out Ruby Anniversary Tour which saw them celebrating their 40th anniversary and releasing celebratory box set album Giants & Gems. It was a tour which saw fans, old and new, flocking to venues.

It was a record breaking tour for the group and one which saw them be recipients of countless accolades and much acclaim and one which also saw them performing a major European festivals V Festival and T-in-the-Park.

They are a band who appeal to a wide range of fans, much because of the diverse range of musical genres which underpin their music – whether pop, prog, metal, jazz. And added to this is the undoubted talent which each member of the Stranglers has.

Still one of the most influential bands around, the plaudits continue to flow. And despite their 40 years of experience, they continue to wow fans and critics alike. ‘The Stranglers have never sounded so alive’ declare Mojo. Whilst countless others comment on the continued strength of their performances and indeed music – snarling yet pondering, dominant yet wondrous.
