Nieve Ella has announced a run of UK tour dates including a Manchester gig at the Deaf Institute.

The Manchester gig is one of four shows she has announced.  She will also be headlining at London’s Omeara, Glasgow’s King Tut’s and Birmingham’s O2 Institute.

The tour announcement follows the recent release of her new EP Lifetime of Wanting.  Nieve Ella also recently released the single Car Park, which landed on the BBC Radio 1 playlist.

Lifetime of Wanting reveals Nieve Ella opening up her heart.  The EP follows on from her debut EP Young and Naïve, with elements of indie-pop, 90’s guitar music and striking choruses.  The EP deep dives on the trials and tribulations of young love.

As Nieve Ella says about Lifetime of Wanting, “My first ep was based on my life 2 years ago – a period where I felt unwanted and unsure of myself. A lot has changed since then, and with this new project I went in with a whole new mindset. The person I am today had to find a way to write about being in-love.”

Speaking further about lead single Car Park, Nieve Ella added, “Car Park is the acknowledgement that relationships aren’t always perfect and they take hard work from both ends. But, having that constant in your life, that person being there for you and loving you despite your flaws, makes it all worthwhile. I would do anything to make it work despite my doubts and insecurities, and this song captures that feeling for me.”
