N’Faly Kouyate will headline at Manchester’s Band on the Wall following the release of new single Premiers Pas.

The Manchester gig is one of eight UK dates he is playing.  He will also headline at Liverpool Philharmonic.

The UK dates form part of his Afro Celt Sound System frontman’s Re-Generation Tour.

New single Premiers Pas is political track echoing Africa’s call for total autonomy.  The song reflects on Africa’s history including suffering, terror and a thirst for freedom.  The track is accompanied by a video co-directed bv N’Faly Kouyate, his manager Sandra Werner and their team.  The video depicts Africa’s journey to freedom, cultural diversity and inner strength.

Speaking about the new single N’Faly Kouyaté said, “I am raising a cry with ‘Premiers Pas’ to demand total autonomy for Africa. This song is the expression of the determination of an entire continent to finally take control of its destiny.”
