Millie Manders And The Shut Up will release their second album in August ahead of a Manchester gig in November.

They will headline at Manchester Club Academy later this year in support of new album Wake Up, Shut Up, Work.  The Manchester gig is one of 13 UK dates Millie Manders And The Shut Up have announced.

Speaking about new album Wake Up, Shut Up, Work, Millie Manders said, “Our sophomore album has been so much more collaborative as a band, and it’s been a really wonderful process in terms of expansion and evolution of our sound while maintaining a lot of what we have already put out on Telling Truths, Breaking Ties. It’s also been a great opportunity to bond as musicians, writing in rooms together in blocks over the last year or so. We are all so proud of what we have achieved, and we all hope that Wake Up, Shut Up, Work has a similarly warm reception when it’s released into the world.”

To celebrate the release of Wake Up, Shut Up, Work, Millie Manders And The Shut Up will headline an intimate acoustic gig at Kingston Banquet Records on 6 August.

Millie Manders And The Shut Up release Wake Up, Shut Up, Work on 2 August 2024.  The album is available for pre-order from Millie Manders And The Shut Up’s website.  It is available on CD and vinyl and is also available through independent record stores.
