Manchester band Hot Milk will release their debut album A Call To The Void in August, with a UK tour in November.

The run of UK dates includes a Manchester gig at Manchester Academy with support from Witch Fever.

Hot Milk have released three self-produced EPs, landing them stadium support slots, headline tours and main stage appearances at global festivals.

Their UK tour will open at Glasgow’s, SWG3, and also include a headline date at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum before culminating in a home-town show at Manchester Academy.

“You won’t wanna look away from this horror show” said Hot Milk’s Han and Jim.  “After the album that nearly killed us, here’s the tour that brings us back to life for our biggest shows ever. Buzzin to bring you our life’s work so far, the only aim is to leave you with one of the best nights of your life.”

Debut album A Call To The Void promises to walk the line between humorous and serious; laughing because the alternative is to cry.

The album features the first single Horror Show plus current Radio 1 playlisted track Party On My Deathbed, a song bridled with reckless abandon which encourages listeners to adopt a norm of non-compliance, defiance and comfort in the unconventional.  As lead singer Han Mee says of the single, “We can’t be helped, we just wanna squeeze out every morsel of this life and being a bit of a wreckhead has come hand in hand with the pursuit of fun.  Can’t be stopped, don’t wanna be stopped, we’re sorry but we’re not, maybe we’re just lost. Who cares, life’s about connection n getting off the fuckin internet n losing ur mind on the streets of Manny and finding it again on your way home.”

The band recorded the album between Manchester, Los Angeles and Stockholm with the bands very own Jim Shaw at the Producing helm for the majority of the record, much like all previous releases.

Hot Milk release debut album A Call To The Void on 25 August 2023.
