Drake White is set to make his UK return with a series of shows with Kip Moore including Manchester’s O2 Ritz, following an appearance at Country Music Week.

Drake White’s UK debut came early in 2017 at London’s Country2Country Festival where he was widely considered to be one of the break through artists.  The C2C appearance came in the aftermath of the release of his debut album Spark, which immediately shot to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Country Albums chart upon its release last year and has earned praise from critics and fans alike.  Spark was recorded in Nashville, produced by Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover.  White co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks.

Backed by his band The Big Fire, Drake has previously toured with superstars including Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Toby Keith and the Zac Brown Band.  The Alabama native was featured in Rolling Stone’s 10 Country Artists You Need To Know as well as Billboard’s Hot New Country Artists to Watch and was chosen as one of the CRS New Faces for 2017.

The foot-stomping singer/songwriter and nature enthusiast says, “Since I began the journey making this album I knew I wanted the title to be SPARK.  The idea of starting a fire from a tiny spark has always been so intriguing to me. That’s the way I have always lived my life; starting with a small plan and then it becomes this dream I didn’t even know to dream.”

Drake White’s new single Livin’ The Dream is due for release on 13 October, shortly after the Manchester O2 Ritz show.
