Maisie Peters has shared her new track Body Better, the first single from her soon to be announced second album.

The singer and songwriter is set to perform at Liverpool’s Sound City in April.

2022 saw Maisie Peters sell out headline shows around the globe, land a BRIT Breakthrough certification for outstanding debut album You Signed Up For This and support Ed Sheeran on his UK and EU stadium tour.

New track Body Better is out now.  Maisie Peters wrote the track alongside Ines Dunn and producer Matias Tellez as she sought to showcase the evolution of her songwriting style and put a marker down for the new album.

“Body Better is one of the most honest songs I’ve ever released, and definitely the most personal”, Maisie shares. “I wrote it after a breakup and it deals with the ugly things you think to yourself in the aftermath, when you’re painstakingly going through everything small thing you did and were and wondering what you could have changed. It’s a song about insecurity and vulnerability, about giving a lot of yourself away to someone who decides they don’t want it anymore, and knowing where to go from there.”

Maisie Peters is due to head out on a UK tour in April which will include sets at Liverpool Sound City followed later in the summer by appearances at The Great Escape and TRNSMT Festival.
