Manchester band Loose Articles have revealed their latest single I’d Rather Have A Beer and confirmed their debut album for later this year.

I’d Rather Have A Beer is the first taste of their upcoming album, telling the cautionary tale that warns against falling back into negative patters, with Loose Articles vocalist Natalie Wardle declaring, “raise a glass to all the man slags/they’re nothing more than just a guy you’ve had.”

Speaking about the track, Loose Articles said, “I’d Rather Have a Beer is an anthem encouraging people to go out and have fun with your pals, rather than chasing people and dead relationships who are not worth your time.”

The single follows on from the band’s 2022 debut EP Chaos and their 2023 single Sinead Loves Bitcoin.

Loose Articles also have three local gigs lined up including Salford’s White Hotel, Bolton’s Right to Roam Festival and a support slot with Foo Fighters at their huge Emirates Old Trafford gig in June.  They will also be embarking on a French tour in February.
