Larkin Poe have announced The Sheepdogs as the main support for their UK tour including Manchester gig at the Albert Hall.
The Manchester gig is one of four UK dates the duo are headlining.
Canadian rock band The Sheepdogs will make their UK debut on the tour and will also perform their first European dates. “We’re thrilled to be hitting the road with Larkin Poe this fall and bringing the spirit of Rock N Roll to the good people of Europe” the band said.
The UK tour comes in support of Larkin Poe’s critically acclaimed album Blood Harmony. The tour sees Larkin Poe, the Georgia-bred, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell, performing some of their biggest UK headline shows to date.
“UK & European music lovers, the time has come — LET’S MAKE A DATE TO ROCK ⚡⚡ We are so excited to be coming back to tour in support of our ‘Blood Harmony’ album; go get your tickets now & we’ll see you in the autumn!” Larkin Poe added.
Larkin Poe co-produced the new album alongside Tyler Bryant (Rebecca’s husband). With Megan handling harmony vocals, lap steel, and resonator guitar and Rebecca on guitar and keys, they also enlisted members of their long-term live band, including drummer Kevin McGowan and bassist Tarka Layman. They mainly recorded the album at Rebecca and Tyler’s home studio.
