UK production duo Jungle have announced a headline Manchester gig at Castlefield Bowl in July 2024. The date forms part of Sounds of the City 2024.
The announcement follows the release of their fourth album Volcano in August. The album landed alongside their first feature-length film Volcano, The Motion Picture.
News of the Manchester gig also follows their recent singles You Ain’t No Celebrity, Candle Flame, Dominoes, I’ve Been in Love and Back on 74. The tracks embrace Jungle’s musicianship alongside the live instrumentation of their live shows as they hit home with a hybrid of disco, soul and hip-hop. They are also joined by UK rapper Roots Manuva on latest track You Ain’t No Celebrity as explore fame, relationships and personal identity.
