Two nights scheduled at O2 Apollo Manchester.

Hotly tipped Liverpudlian singer-songwriter Jetta is set to support John Newman on his October UK tour which will see them perform two nights at Manchester’s O2 Apollo.

With a strong voice, and songs which fuse pop anthems with soul, Jetta has been earmed as one to watch by Rolling Stone Magazine and iTunes and marked for greatness by Pharrell, who has produced her debut EP Crescendo, which is set for release on 1st July.

A self-tought pianist, 24 year old Jetta received her breakthrough when she posted a video online which she shot on her iPhone. The video for the track Start A Riot, which she wrote quickly spared a frenzy for her signature with labels on both sides of the Atlantic competing before she signed for Universal. It’s not surprise that Jetta is set to make it big in music – she was dedicated to the pursuit from an early age – joining a choir at the age of 8, before settng her sights on the piano aged 13 and writing her own songs from the age of 16 whilst working in live bars in Liverpool. Before long she started working as a backing vocalist which saw her working alongside Cee-Lo Green.

John Newman performs at the O2 Apollo Manchester on 20th and 21st October with support from Jetta. Tickets £19.50 plus booking fee.
