Hozier has announced his live return with his first UK tour in four years. The dates will include a Manchester gig at Castlefield Bowl.
The gig in Manchester forms part of this year’s Sounds Of The City line-up.
The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter will also perform major outdoor shows in Glasgow, Cardiff and London.
News of the tour comes as Hozier releases his new EP Eat Your Young which features three new tracks, the title track, All Things End and Through Me (The Flood).
Hozier’s self-titled full-length debut landed in at the number 2 spot on the Billboard Top 200 and featured his quintuple-platinum smash Take Me To Church. The album marks the second biggest debut album of the year on its release and went on to achieve tripled RIAA Platinum status with nine weeks at number on in his native Ireland and rising to number three in the UK.
The follow up to Hozier’s debut album, Wasteland, Baby! was released to massive critical acclaim in March 2019, entering the US Billboard Top 200 Chart at number one.
When does Hozier perform at Manchester’s Sounds of the City?
Hoziers headlines at Castlefield Bowl as part of Sounds of the City on 5 July 2023. The Manchester gig is one of eight UK dates he is performing. He will be supported at the Manchester date by The Teskey Brothers and Victorial Canal:
