After beginning 2021 shortlisted for BBC Sound of 2021 poll, Griff is continuing her upwards trajectory with a string of headline dates including Manchester’s Deaf Institute.

2021 has witnessed Griff follow up that incredible start to the year by picking up the BRIT Rising Star award, releasing singles including One Foot In Front Of The Other and dropping her debut mixtape of the same name.

Add on to this appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers and Later…With Jools Holland and sharing chips with Taylor Swift backstage, it’s been quite the year.

Now, after dropping the instantly memorable One Night, Griff heads out on a UK tour stopping off at Manchester’s Deaf Institute.  She will also embark on a European tour opening in March 2022.

Griff’s first mixtape, One Foot In Front Of The Other, marked a strong statement of intent.  The release was written in the first year of the pandemic, harnessing inspiration from her career and lifestory so far.  Born to Chinese and Jamaican parents just out of Watford, Griff started making music in secret whilst completing her A-Levels – brought together into debut EP Mirror Talk, when many of her classmates learned for the first time what she had been busy with all along.  In the last year or so, Griff has shown the type of creativity and curiosity that can still flourish even when – incredibly – she still has only a limited number of live shows to her name.

Songs across One Foot In Front Of The Other follow Griff down the Black Hole of modern teenage life: tackling big themes (young love, mental health, family, and friendship) in her signature style as her career continues to rise.
