Grammy Award winners Culture Club have announced a run of dates throughout the UK in December which will see the original line-up playing their first UK gigs in over 15 years!
They will be hitting Manchester Arena in December. The Manchester gig is one of 11 UK dates they have announced.
The line-up, which consists of Mikey Craig (bass guitar), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Jon Moss (drums and percussion) and front man Boy George (vocals) will also be heading into the studio to record new material, with an album set to be released early 2015 and to be produced by Youth (Paul McCartney, The Verve, Embrace).
Culture Club had worldwide success, becoming one of the biggest pop bands of the 1980s with seven straight Top 10 hits in the UK, nine Top 10 singles in the US and nine Top 20s singles in Australia. They also had number ones in over a dozen countries and multi-platinum album sales. Amongst their phenomenal record of hits were Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, Karma Chamelon, Victims and Time (Clock of the Heart) which came from their five studio albums, four of which kit the UK top ten.
Joining Culture Club will be Alison Moyet, who herself has sold over 20 million records as a soloist and half of Yazoo.

Tickets for Culture Club at the Manchester Arena go on sale 9am on Friday 23rd May priced £28.50 and £48.50 plus booking fee.
