Courtney Marie Andrews returns to Manchester this week for a gig at Band on the Wall. The Manchester gig is one of 8 dates she is headlining on her UK and Ireland tour.
The run of shows opens tonight at Brudenell Social Club and includes further shows in Bristol, Glasgow, Newcastle, London, Birmingham and Brighton.
The tour comes after the Grammy-nominated and critically-acclaimed songwriter released her latest album Loose Future. The album has picked up strong critical acclaim, with the follow-up to her Grammy-nominated 2020 release Old Flowers, picking up glowing reviews and praise.
Courtney Marie Andrews originally approach the new album by writing a song every day, collating an album’s worth of material fuelled with a sense of romances, possibility and freedom. The album was co-produced by Sam Evian and marks a slight departure from the more traditional Americana sound of her previous releases.
