Manchester’s Tariff & Dale will be the scene of CANVAS Manchester – an event from Bombay Sapphire gin where two artists will transform the venue.

Guests at CANVAS Manchester will join the two artists in the transformation of Tarriff & Dale as illustrator Chris Arran and typographic artist Tobias Hall create evolving works of art over the course of the two-day event next week.  Guests will also experience mixology as an art form with the opportunity to personalise and customise their own Bombay Sapphire serves.

The event will feature Manchester artist Chris Arran who will take over the entrance stairwell of Tariff & Dale.  He will create a bold original piece for the event as well as using elements of his previous works to create a window vinyl.  Illustrator, letterer, designer and artist Tobias Hall will work on a live mural, gradually building on the design throughout the event.

Chris Arran has commented, “I’m excited to be working with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE to bring CANVAS to Manchester for the very first time. The Northern Quarter is a real cultural hub, home to the creative industries and some of the city’s best street art, which makes it the perfect location for CANVAS. We want to inspire the people who visit CANVAS and make them feel part of the creative process.”

On arrival, guests will be invited to stir their creativity at the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE and Tonic Wall which features a range of tonic-on-tap options. The CANVAS cocktail will also be on offer – a white-coloured BOMBAY SAPPHIRE serve which guests can take to the ‘Cocktail Finishing Studio’ to personalise their cocktail with flavoured edible garnishes
