Vintage-pop duo Barbara will support Haircut 100 at Manchester’s O2 Ritz next week on their UK tour which runs through until November.
As well as the Manchester gig, Barabra will also support Haricut 100 at their Liverpool gig at O2 Academy.
To co-incide with the dates, the band will share their new single Master Narrative.
Speaking about their excitement in joining Haircut 100 on tour, brothers Henry and John Tydeman said, “We can’t wait to tour with the guys in Haircut 100 this Autumn. We had such a brilliant time opening for them at Shepherd’s Bush in May, and it was a real thrill to play for their fans who are clearly connoisseurs of perfect pop. We’re very excited about performing our lovingly crafted collection of theatrical ditties for many more of them up and down the country!”
New track Master Narrative finds the duo blending pop melodies with their own offbeat idiosyncrasies. The track has been produced by Paul Steel and mixed/mastered by Julian Tardo.
Ahead of the tour, Barbara have also shared live performance videos for These New Communications and Pretty Straight Guy, each recorded live at their rehearsal space at Brighton Electric.
