Native James to release new EP ahead of Manchester gig

Native James announces EP Confessions of a Sinner with Manchester show at The Lodge

Native James has confirmed details of his new EP Confessions of a Sinner, which will be released in October. The project includes previous singles Fallen and GTFU, both of which earned strong DSP support, playlist placements, and spins on BBC Radio 1.

The new EP lands ahead of a Manchester gig at the Deaf Institute Lodge.

Explaining the concept, Native James said: “This EP is ups and downs, trials and tribulations; it entices the duality of oneself while taking you down a path of reflection. It’s connected with rage and all the above – a sinner and his thoughts.”

Alongside the announcement, he has released new single You’re Nothing. Speaking about the track, he said: “You’re Nothing is about doubling down; letting the system, the perpetrator, the hater and the abuser know that they are nothing. That same rhetoric that has been implanted into the heads of many that they’re worthless, or nothing – we’re spinning it on its head making the people realise they are something, they are valued.”

Native James has enjoyed a landmark summer with appearances at Glastonbury, where he performed two sets, and supporting Letlive. at their farewell shows in London.

Native James will release Confessions of a Sinner on Friday 3 October 2025

The EP will be available on all major platforms and can be pre-saved now.
