Ward Thomas have announced a massive 16-date UK tour for the Autumn which will see the twin sisters performing at Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
The duo recently premiered their new single Carry You Home and announced details of their forthcoming album Cartwheels, due to be released via Sony Music/WTW Music on 9 September.
Cartwheels features 14 self-penned songs that capture a range of emotions, from joy to heartbreak and everywhere in between. Inspired by a childhood listening to their parents’ Fleetwood Mac and Beatles records and more recently Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, Cartwheels is a stunning follow up to their debut album, 2014’s From Where We Stand.
The duo, who are also due to headline the Saturday evening at (almost Manchester) three-day festival Buckle and Boots on 25 June, have quickly developed a reputation for exceptional live shows and won the British Country Music Award for UK Album Of The Year for From Where We Stand.
