Chetham’s School of Music – Eudald Buch. The first free lunchtime concert of the year at Chetham’s features Eudald Buch on piano performing Schonberg’s Sechs kleine Klavierstucke and Beethoven’s Sonata in A flat Major. Free. 1.30pm
Thursday 8th January:
Royal Northern College of Music – The RNCM Concert Orchestra. A free lunchtime concert performed by the RNCM Concert Orchestra featuring Smetana’s Vltava and Sarka from Ma vlast and Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance in G minor. Matthew Wood and Thiago Santos conduct. Free. 1.15pm.
