Bridgewater Hall – The Halle presents The Snowman. A screening of the classic animated Christmas movie The Snowman, accompanied by the Halle performing Howard Blake’s score including a chorister singing Walking in the Air. Tickets £24 (adults), £16 (children). 1.30pm, 4.00pm and 6.30pm.
Friday 26th December:
Bridgewater Hall – Music and Dance from the Ballet. Star soloists from The Russian State Ballet of Siberia are featured alongside Manchester Concert Orchestra in an afternoon of music and ballet, with classic pieces from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, Chopin’s Chopiniana Waltz and Stravinsky’s The Firebird amongst others. Tickets £42-£18.50. 3.00pm.
Saturday 27th December:
Bridgewater Hall – The Sound of Musicals. Manchester Concert Orchestra is accompanied by special guests Summer Strallen, Kerry Ellis, Tim Howar and Graham Bickley as it performs West End favourites including The Sound of Music, Oliver, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Phantom Of The Opera and more. Tickets £42 – £18.50. 3.00pm
