Bridgewater Hall. The Love Music Trust takes over the Bridgewater Hall with two concerts. The first at 10.30am will feature pupils from 70 different schools in the culmination of ‘Singing Playgrounds’, a year long project to engage primary school pupils in singing. A further concert will then take place at 7.00pm featuring a Gala Celebration Concert including performances by the award winning Foden’s Brass Band.
Saturday 19 July
Bridgewater Hall. The impressive Bridgewater Hall is opened up to the public on a guided tour at 1.00pm which gives participants the opportunity to peek behind the scenes.
Bridgewater Hall. The always excellent Halle presents the Sounds of the Sixties. Conducted by Richard Balcombe and featuring vocalists Graham Bickley, Mary Carewe, Alison Jiear and Abbie Osmon the orchestra will perform some of the most popular 1960s hits including the likes of I Only Want To Be With You, Music to Watch Girls By, Downtown and MacArthur Park.
