Tessa Rose Jackson (aka Someone) will headline at Manchester’s Gullivers following the release of her Twin Peaks inspired ode to Audrey Horne.

The trip-hop-inspired track, Audrey, is accompanied by  a cinematic video directed by David Spearing featuring Someone herself and features eye lights which will also be used on stage during her UK tour, including Manchester gig.

Speaking about the track, Tessa Rose Jackson said, “I wanted the music to channel the twilight zone between youth and womanhood, moving between the sensual and the naive, the danger and the tenderness.  My favourite moment in the song is the instrumental outro – as my dear friend Floris van der Vlugt breaks into a howling saxophone solo which gave me goosebumps as we tracked it in the studio and – to me – instantly conjures up the smoky, sexy film noir aesthetic I wanted to reference with this song.”

The song features on Someone’s critically acclaimed album Owls which was released earlier this year.  The album began life as a screenplay inspired by a trip around America’s forgotten towns and the surrealism of David Lynch.
