Stockeld Rox music festival lands later this month at Stockeld Park outside Harrogate featuring bands, an adventure park and more.
The two-day festival, which began six years ago as a concert for tribute bands, has grown exponentially to become one of Yorkshire’s most unique and family-friendly music festivals. This year will feature headliners and four-time Brit Award winners Scouting for Girls (Sunday evening) and Symphonic Ibiza, a 16-piece orchestra playing club classics from the 80s and 90s (Saturday evening).
The festival is being held in the grounds of Stockeld Park, one of Yorkshire’s leading adventure parks and most historic rural estates. Concert-goers will have a range of family friendly activities to enjoy before and during the music including face painting, fairground activities, hot and cold food, access to the adventure park, Stockeld Bopz (a live show designed for children of all ages) and leading tribute bands. The evening is finished off on both nights with a firework display at 10pm.
Speaking about Stockeld Rox, Sotckeld Park Executive Director George Grant said, “What makes Stockeld Rox truly special is that it is about so much more than the music. Ticket holders not only get a sensational evening of live music and fireworks as part of the main Stockeld Rox concert, they also have one of the most exciting and diverse Adventure Parks anywhere in the country to enjoy beforehand.”
