One of the US’s brightest stars Kelsea Ballerini releases her new album Unapologetically on 3 November. The album release comes just weeks after she supports Lady Antebellum on their UK tour, opening at Manchester Arena. Unapologetically seeks Kelsea Ballerini recounting the past for years of her life.
Speaking of the album, the multiple CMT Award nominated Kelsea Ballerini commented “I feel like I’ve been keeping a secret for two years that I finally get to tell. The album is the country singer’s second album, following her 2015 debut The First Time. As her debut hit the US Top 5, the Knoxville, Tennessee, native broke multiple records. She placed her first three singles in the number one spot, scoring Platinum hits with Love Me Like You Mean It and Peter Pan, whilst seeing Dibs was certified gold, a feat never achieved by a female in country music history. She repeated the achievement as Yeah Boy also reached gold status.
Kelsea has sold over 300,000 albums in the USA, over 2 million singles, 80 million YouTube, and is coming up for 250 million streams. In 2015 Kelsea received Billboard’s prestigious ‘Rising Star’ at their Women In Music event while last year she received CMT’s Breakout Artist of the Year. This year she was nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy Award, as well as Best New Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards where she won Best New Country Artist.
