Iraina Mancini will hit the road for a UK tour following the release of latest single What You Doin featuring Miles Kane and Kitty Liv.
The tour features a Manchester gig at the Deaf Institute and a date at Birkenhead’s Library and lands after the critically acclaimed release of her debut album Undo The Blue.
Under The Blue has already proved a hit with fans and media and features the BBC6 Music playlisted tracks Cannonball, Undo The Blue, Do It (You Stold The Rhythm), Deep End and Shot Cut.
The album was written in its entirety by Iraina Mancini and includes collaborations with Simon Dine, Jagz Kooner and Sunglasses for Jaws.
Latest single What You Doin features appearances from Miles Kane and Kitty Liv of Kitty, Daisy and Lewis. Speaking about how the track came together Iraina Mancini explained, “I wrote [“What You Doin’”] about someone not being able to see what’s right in front of them, and If they don’t act soon, then you’re not waiting around! It’s got a lot of attitude and confidence. I love the live feel the song has, it was great to have Miles Kane (guitar) and Kitty Liv (harmonica) come down to the studio to jam on the track. Their parts added an extra sprinkle of magic to the song.”
