Zinadelphia has announced a second Manchester headline gig to her appearance at The Castle in May. She will now perform an early show at 6.30pm at the venue before the second show starts at 8.45pm.
After releasing a trio of singles, Zinadelphia dropped her debut EP Lucky in 2023 before touring with the likes of Medium Build, Teddy Swims and Tori Kelly.
In 2024 Zinadelphia worked with writer-producers Leroy Clampitt and Gabe Goodman to put together the sounds she really wanted to achieve. “I’m very much a maximalist,” she explains. “I wanted to dip into an old Hollywood feel, almost Burlesque-like.” The sound was in part inspired by her love of 60s and 70s icons The Supremes, Gloria Gaynor and Tammi Terrell.
In her writing, Zinadelphia addresses ugly truths, capturing the highs and lows whilst mixing vintage aesthetics and a fresh perspective.
