Zaho De Sagazan will headline a string of UK tour dates later this month including a Manchester gig at Gorilla.
The gig in Manchester is one of five UK and Ireland headline shows with further dates in Glasgow, Bristol, London and Dublin.
Zaho De Sagazan is one of the fastest rising stars in French music scooping four award wins last year, with a further two nominations at the upcoming French Music Awards (Female Artist of the Year) and Live Performance of the Year. The nods come off the back of her latest release La symphonie des éclairs (Le dernier des voyages), an expanded international edition of her breakthrough debut album La symphonie des eclairs.
Originally released in March 2023, La symphonie des éclairs has since gone Platinum in France selling more than 100,000 copies. The album has garnered critical acclaim and led to Zaho receiving four prestigious French Music Awards (Album of the Year, Best Original Song, Best Female Newcomer, Best Newcomer Live Act), becoming the first artist to do so in a single night. Zaho has also graced the covers of some of the most notable magazines this past year including ELLE, Bazaar, Rolling Stone France, Vanity Fair, Financial Times Magazine and Puss Puss.
Following 116 sold-out shows globally in 2023 and sound-tracking the Louis Vuitton SS24 show in Paris, this year saw even more historic moments for Zaho: she performed at her first Zénith arenas in Paris and Nantes and a flurry of summer festivals; covered the Edith Piaf classic Sous le ciel de Paris during the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games; and opened the Cannes Film Festival with a special rendition of David Bowie’s Modern Love.
