Wet Leg have announced a UK tour including a Manchester gig at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. The Manchester gig is one of five headline UK dates they have confirmed.
The band have also revealed details of their second album, moisturizer. Wet Leg, founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, and joined by Ellis Durand (bass), Henry Holmes (drums) and Joshua Mobaraki (guitar/synth), will release moisturizer on 11 July 2025. The album promises manic love songs, kiss-offs and more.
The band decamped to Southwold to write the album in March 2024. They lived together, worked all day and watch horror movies at night. “We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” says Chambers of the experience. “We focussed on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together” adds Teasdale.
Wet Leg have also shared the first taste of moisturizer with lead single catch these fists. The track is accompanied by a video directed by the band on the Isle of Wight.
