Twinnie has shared the official music video for her track Worst Kind of Crush. The video lands ahead of a run of tour dates including a gig at Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
The Manchester gig is one of 12 UK and Ireland dates she will perform on her Happy Hour Tour 2025. The tour opens with a set at Red Rooster Festival in Suffolk and then continues with a headline run.
The new video accompanies the bittersweet track which takes on heartache, fleeting romance and unfulfilled passion through high-energy country-pop. Twinnie’s Worst Kind of Crush was originally released on 7 February and since then has steadily climbed the charts picking up radio play.
Now the official video has been shared. Filmed by Max Meets Music City, Twinnie acknowledges the random way in which the video came together. “This video actually came together by accident,” Twinnie shares. “We were in the middle of a photo shoot when I thought, ‘We should film the video here.’ I called my friend to play the guy and the rest is history. We shot it in about 20 minutes. Usually, I love to dance in my videos, but for this one, I liked the simplicity of just sitting on the phone and telling the story…basically yelling at my ex. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there, which makes this video so relatable.”
