Twinnie has shared her new EP Blue Hour (Before The Dawn) as she brings a close to her self-proclaimed “sad girl era”.
The six track EP marks the second half of her previously released Blue Hour (After Dark) record.
Twinnie largely wrote Blue Hour (Before The Dawn) over the past year. It was put together during a period in which she suffered the breakdown of a ten-year relationship and moved to Nashville. It was also during this time that she made her Opry debut.
Blue Hour (Before The Dawn) is based on her real-life experiences and pain, but comes with a sense of hope.
As she explains, “Blue Hour (Before The Dawn) is slightly more hopeful than the first half. Part 2 of this record, is about coming out the other side of a breakup. But there are some really sad songs on there. I’m so excited to share the project.”
In 2024, Twinnie became one of CMT’s Next Women Of Country, and had her ‘Lonely Long’ video premiered on a Billboard in Times Square, New York.
