The Sherlocks have announced a huge run of UK tour dates including a headline Manchester gig at The Albert Hall.
The Manchester gig is one of 11 UK dates they have announced. The tour also includes a massive gig at London’s Electric Ballroom.
News of the tour comes as the Sheffield indie band prepare to support Shed Seven on their huge 30th anniversary tour this autumn. The run includes a date at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse in December.
The Sherlocks will release their new album Everything Must Make Sense! on 21 February ahead of the UK run. The album features the lead single Man On The Loose.
Speaking about hitting the road and the tour, vocalist/guitarist Kiaran Crook said, “Delighted to be back out on tour once again across the UK! It feels like a lifetime ago since we were last out playing headline shows and by the time we come to play these gigs it will have been well over a year, which for a band like ours, is actually a crazy amount of time. 2024 may well be the first year ever in Sherlocks history that we haven’t toured. We love playing live. That’s what we do! When you come and see us you know you’re going to watch a proper band. These days there’s not so many of us ‘actually’ playing live so we’re all buzzing to get back out there and show people what we’re all about. Our fans know the score anyway, they come to our gigs for a good time and they feel more like a party than anything else.
“The new tunes are gonna sound mega live and hopefully we get around to playing a big chunk of the new songs as well as the classics! The setlist is starting to feel like a greatest hits set these days which is always nice as you progress through the years with more albums worth of material. Tickets for The Sherlocks’ headline UK tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 11 October. A pre-sale opens at 10am on Wednesday 9 October for fans who pre-order Everything Must Make Sense!
