A new pizza restaurant will launch this Autumn at Circle Square on Oxford Road courtesy of the team behind Ramona, Diecast and Firehouse.
Detroit Slims, the quick-service pizza restaurant, will open later this year – and even give away 10,000 free pizzas!
Detroit Slims will bring quick service 10″ long rectangle shaped pizzas to the city with prices starting from £5. Each Slims pizza will be individually sized and baked fresh to order, featuring toppings such as the Cheese Burger Slim, BBQ Meat Feast and the Shroom Slim – with the signature The Pepperoni Crown. Each flavour combo will sit on top of Detroit Slims’ light and fluffy textured base, made from 48-hour, slow-fermented focaccia dough.
Alongside the pizzas, Detroit Slims will also serve house-made dips including Kimchi Mayo, Hot Honey and Dill + Jalapeño Ranch plus a selection of sides including chicken tenders tossed in homemade cajun pepper and crispy scooper fries.
Drinks and deserts are also set to win fans over, with shakes including Banoffee Pie and Detroit-style Bumpy Cake (vanilla, chocolate and butterscotch cake). Deserts include ice-cream sandwiches, cookie trays and soft-serve ice-creams.
To celebrate the opening, Detroit Slims is giving away 10,000 FREE pizzas* (over 23 American football pitches when lined up!) to the first people to sign up on the Detroit Slims newsletter here. Guests will receive a unique code for their free Slim during the first few weeks of opening.
