The Kooks have announced a run of UK and Ireland tour dates including a gig at Co-op Live. The Manchester gig is one of six dates they have confirmed.

The tour supports The Kooks‘ forthcoming seventh studio album Never/Know, set for release on 9 May. This marks the group’s first appearance at Manchester’s Co-op Live, the largest indoor arena in the UK, which opened in 2024.

The indie outfit will headline arenas across the UK this October, including London’s O2 Arena, Newcastle Utilita Arena and Cardiff’s Utilita Arena.  The tour opens with the Manchester gig.

The tour arrives after the release of their spring single Sunny Baby and the announcement of Never/Know.  Speaking about the record, frontman Luke Pritchard said: “We’re told how bad everything is at the moment; everything’s sh*t; the world’s sh*t. And I was like, I’m just going to refuse to not let these be the best years of life, because I’ve got a young family. It’s about me getting to a balanced life; having a family. It’s a love song about someone making me fall back in love with myself.”

Main support on the tour comes from rising Merseyside four-piece The K’s, who earned “Breakthrough Act of the Year” at the 2024 Northern Music Awards. Their second album Pretty On The Internet lands in June 2025.

The Kooks’ 2025 tour also follows their debut Indie Club Night earlier this year and the success of lead single Never Know, which received strong national radio support.
