The Amazons have announced a UK tour including a Manchester gig at the Albert Hall. The Manchester date is one of 10 UK shows they have announced. The tour opens in Bristol and culminates with a gig at Glasgow’s SWG3.
To coincide with the tour announcement, The Amazons have also shared their new single Night After Night. The track features on their upcoming album 21st Century Fiction which lands in May.
The song took shape when The Amazons found inspiration in their time spent at Jumbo’s Clown Room in Hollywood. The venue is an old haunt of David Lynch and Charles Bukowski. Speaking about this The Amazon’s Matt Thomson explained, “what interested us were the guys who’d go there all the time, who became part of the furniture, at the bar night after night compelled to be there, unable to break out. It’s easy to judge, but we all have our habits, some more visible than others. It’s only when we try to hop the fence, that we realise how much of a hold they have over us.”
The Amazons release 21st Century Fiction on 9 May 2025.
