Sunday (1994) have announced a their biggest tour to date opening with a Manchester gig at Gorilla. The Manchester gig is one of 12 UK dates they have announced with further dates including Birkenhead’s Futureyard, Leeds’ The Wardrobe and a final show at London’s Electric Ballroom.
The tour announcement comes after Sunday (1994) sold out their debut headline shows, performed at The Great Escape Festival and played packed-out sets at Live at Leeds and Neighbourhood Weekender. The announcement also follows the release of the band’s sophomore EP Devotion which landed last month. The six-track collection followed their self-titled 2024 debut EP. Speaking about their latest EP and how it interacts with their debut Sunday (1994) commented, “A wild-hearted companion to our first. Each song converses, conspires, or is a continuation of one that came before. Which basically means they’re connected. You have to figure out which ones and how. Answers on a post card.”
